Access Architect

Make the Day Work

An inclusive design puzzle game. You redesign environments so autistic and neurodivergent characters can take part in an ordinary day.

The person does not need fixing. Sometimes the environment does.

Play the game

The complete game is playable now. It runs on any device, needs no 3D graphics support, and has captions, adjustable text size, high contrast, reduced motion, and full keyboard control.

Play Access Architect

Available in English and Traditional Chinese. There is no time limit anywhere in the game.

A spatial version is being built

Sensory load is spatial. Sound falls away with distance and reflects off hard surfaces; glare depends on where a window, a polished floor and an eyeline meet; a quiet room thirty metres away through two doors is a different design from one around the corner. A flat map cannot express any of that, so a first-person version is in development.

The game above is not a placeholder for it. It will stay here, supported, as the version that asks least of your device and your senses — and for some players it will remain the better one.

Review

Scope
An educational prototype. It is not a clinical tool and gives no medical advice. Its characters are fictional and represent no one but themselves.
